To apply for Honors Immersion please complete the Summer Online Application.
Parents/Guardians and Students: In order to apply you will need to create an account before you can access the application. Please be sure to create only one account per applicant. Once you have created an account, you will then be able to fill out the application. Make sure that you choose “Honors Immersion” as the Program of Study when starting the application.
Note: Honors Immersion students will not choose their courses until after being admitted to the program and paying the program deposit fee.
All Pre-College Honors Immersion Applicants will need to submit the following items:
- Non-Refundable $100 Application Fee
- Recent High School Transcript
- One Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or counselor
- InitialView Interview (if non-native English Speaker)
Admission is on a rolling basis until all spaces in the program have been filled; therefore, students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Although the program focuses on girls and young women, all genders and gender identities are welcome to apply.
Once all application materials have been submitted, the Summer Office will review the student's application and render a decision. If deemed necessary, the Director of Summer Programs may conduct a telephone interview with the applicant.
If you are applying for a Scholarship you will need to fill out a separate Scholarship Application. Scholarships are closed for Summer 2020.
Email is the primary form of communication during the application and enrollment process. Please ensure both parent and student emails are entered correctly on the application.
Students and parents with questions should contact the Summer Office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 781-283-2200.
When a decision has been made the student and parent will receive an email with further instructions on how to do the following:
- Pay the Program Deposit
Admitted students must pay the $500 program deposit to confirm their space in the program. The final deadline for the program deposit is April 22, 2020 for international students and May 29, 2020 for domestic students.
- Set up MyWellesley and SchoolDoc Account
Once students have paid their deposit, their MyWellesley and SchoolDoc accounts will be activated (two separate accounts). Students and parents will be sent emails with detailed instructions for setting up these accounts. In these accounts, students will be able to submit enrollment and health documents, apply for an international Visa, pay tuition, and check their @wellesley.edu email. We recommend students forward their @wellesley.edu email to their personal email to ensure nothing gets lost.
- Complete Enrollment Documents
Students will be responsible for completing enrollment documents by June 1, 2020. These items will be made available through the MyWellesley Portal and the SchoolDoc Portal.
Note: Students applying for Visa support will receive specific instructions on requirements.
- Submit Health Record
All residential students must adhere to the Massachusetts Health Requirements. Once students have paid the program deposit, they will be added to our SchoolDoc Health portal where they can securely submit health related documents. More details about the Health requirement can be found here.
- Course Registration
After paying the program deposit and creating their MyWellesley account, students will be able to register for courses. It is recommended that students register early as courses are on a first come, first served basis and do fill up.
