Wellesley Summer Womens Leadership Networking--1The Undergraduate Contemporary Women’s Leadership (CWL) Institute offers a unique learning experience: intimate classroom discussions and hands-on experience with Wellesley’s distinguished full-time faculty plus women leaders in government, entertainment, and industry.



Dr. Elena Creef

Professor of Women's and Gender Studies, Dr. Creef teaches courses on Asian American film and cultural studies, the multicultural American West, and "Reading Elvis Presley and 1950s America."  She is the author of "Imaging Japanese America: The Visual Construction of Citizenship, Nation, and the Body" (NYU Press 2004).

Dr. Preeta M. Banerjee

Dr. Preeta M. Banerjee has spent over 20 years in academia, coaching, and consulting.  As an advocate, educator, researcher, and author, Dr. Banerjee focuses on the importance of authentic leadership, creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship, and social change.  She is currently co-founder and partner at WhiteLeaf Advisors, LLC.  Previously, she led Deloitte’s U.S. Tech, Media and Telecom thought-leadership team and was a business school professor at both Brandeis University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the Wharton School and a BS in Computational Biology and Business from Carnegie Mellon.
